The beach area is nice for relaxing, and the onsite bike rentals are a great way to explore. The rooms feel dated and could use better maintenance. The breakfast selection is pretty limited, but the view is lovely.

The oceanfront room was charming but small. I liked the clean, colorful decor, though attention to detail was lacking. The bed was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. there was no coffee maker, which was a letdown. The noise level could be intrusive; we received a complaint for simply enjoying a drink outside. Despite this, the patio setup was excellent, just steps from a sandy area and palm trees. I loved the hammock for relaxing and enjoying nature. The shower was outdated and could use an upgrade. the room felt cozy yet cramped, especially for two.

There's a cool restaurant/bar right there, with drinks available at the desk. The shuttle makes it super easy to chill out and explore, plus the staff is genuinely friendly and ready to help.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but still reasonable.

The central pool and beach area with the killer swimming platform were epic. Renting jet skis and kayaks made our chill vibes turn wild in the smooth waters around. The concierge peeps nailed it, hooking us up with rad activities.
More nighttime fun, please! .

Just loved the playful design and water sports available. The seafood at the inviting restaurant was divine. Being far from the city is an added bonus.

Our stay here was fantastic, as we enjoyed a beautiful bayside view, and the resort is conveniently close to many key attractions like the Southernmost Point and Hemingway Home, both less than 15 minutes away by bike; plus, we loved the free shuttle service into downtown that made it easy to explore the area's shops and restaurants. The pool area was a nice touch where we could relax between adventures, and having a restaurant on-site made dining so accessible. While the overall charm and quirky ambiance of the resort enhanced our experience, some updates, like fixing door cracks and improving bathroom plumbing, could definitely elevate the stay.

I loved my clean beachside room with a hammock on the patio overlooking the water. The convenient shuttle made exploring the island a breeze, and enjoying a continental breakfast was a perfect start to my days. Kayaking at night was magical, and seeing the turtles and parrots added an unforgettable touch to my stay!

Mixed bag. The beachfront location is sublime. Rooms are undeniably dated, yet they are clean. Many complain about bugs; I found none. The waitstaff are fantastic, especially during breakfast, which could use more variety. Greg, the shuttle driver, was exceptional—attentive and friendly. the front desk staff could use a refresher on hospitality. First impressions matter. The breakfast options were limited, lacking pastries and proteins. Beach access felt cramped at times, and cleanliness in common areas left something to be desired. This place has potential, but it needs consistent management to elevate the experience. I’d return but with tempered expectations. Great for families with fun activities.

The pool was quite nice to relax in after a long day of work, and having a restaurant on-site made it convenient for quick meals. The location was great, with plenty of stores and dining options nearby. The beds were comfortable, and the fridge in the room was a good size.
The rooms were quite expensive, especially considering the limited 'Ocean view'. The rooms lacked basic amenities like a coffee maker, iron, and microwave.

The sitting area was cozy and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We also enjoyed spending time on the terrace, which offered beautiful views of the garden furniture. we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the sink and the lack of free toiletries. The cookware and kitchen utensils provided were not sufficient for preparing meals in the room. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch, but the carpeted floor seemed a bit worn out. Housekeeping could have been more thorough, as we noticed some areas that could use a more attentive touch. we were hoping for more convenient access to shops or commercial services on the property. the shuttle service was convenient for getting around, and we appreciated the option for paid shuttle service for further excursions. The welcome drink upon arrival was a nice gesture, and the tours/ticket assistance made it easy for us to plan our activities. our experience at Ibis Bay had its ups and downs.

I loved the free shuttle to downtown, the relaxing hammock on my terrace, and the amazing seafood at the on-site restaurant. The convenient scooter rentals and beachfront location were perfect for our stay. I'll recommend this hotel.

we almost rebooked somewhere else after reading so many negative reviews but we are so glad we didn't because ibis bay resort was amazing. from the beachfront rooms to the shuttle. everyone was so nice and helpful. the guys helping with the free breakfast were so attentive and greg the shuttle driver was the best! lots of negative reviews about the dated rooms and bugs, well the rooms were dated but clean and for someone who actually looks for bugs because i hate them, there were no signs of any anywhere. we traveled with some friends but this would be a great place to bring my kids as well. tortoise enclosure, shark feedings, free shuttle to duval and huge iguanas that come right up to you on the beach. will definitely be back.

As trekkers and group of friends, we loved the beach room with a fabulous view, plus the patio area. The quirky 50’s style room was cute and clean. The resort's well-maintained facilities, free coffee in the AM, and availability of bikes and scooters for rent were fantastic amenities. Also, the shuttle service to downtown Key West was super convenient, and the on-site water activities were a blast.
Felt well taken care of, no reason to complain.

From the moment we arrived at this charming Key West gem, we were greeted by the cheerful parrot on the front porch and the relaxing sight of turtles by the playground. The beachfront access was a major highlight, and we loved feeding the sharks while dining at the Stoned Crab restaurant onsite. The IBIS "Life is too Short Bus" made getting to town a breeze, and renting bikes from the hotel allowed us to explore the island. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The room was cozy, clean, and provided a peaceful retreat after a day of adventure. We also appreciated the free shuttle bus that whisked us downtown and the beach area with picnic tables where we enjoyed delightful meals.
While our overall stay was fantastic, we did experience some minor maintenance issues with the stairs, shower, and furniture. The early morning noise of the dumpsters being emptied was a bit disruptive, and the thin walls made it hard to escape the noise from the party crowd who occasionally stayed at the resort.
